  • Path to the draft: steelers on the clock

NFL channel thinks they should pick brendan albert who can play G/T
It would be a good pick!
I didnt know he could play tackle

He played it for 2 games last year. It's hard to say how good he would be at the position.

I have to agree with Mayock he has the quick feet and explosiveness to play LT .... needs to work on strength and experience at that position...high potential for albert.
      2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats (38-1)

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

I dont think you can take him in round 1 if your banking on him as a LT. He's a OG who MAYBE could play OT. Better chance at RT obviously.

He might not be a first round caliber LT, but I think he is definitely a first round G.

Hes a good prsopect but I dont think hes a great prsopect. If I needed an OG I would take him near the end of round 1. OG just imo isnt that important of a position and hes not an elite talent. Hes a "meh" kinda guy to me.

That elevates his stock, but I still think it is unlikely he will go in the first round.

Definetly, but hes not gonna be a pro bowler at either imo.

Hey Goob, ask Shaun Alexander how important of a position HE thinks guard is. And then ask yourself if you were the Seattle GM in '05 and playing armchair GM if you'd do ANYTHING other than franchise Hutchinson. Considering the way the prices for guards have skyrocketed the last two years my Hawks would have gotten a bargain for Hutch at that time, considering he's the best G in football.

I'm not saying Albert is on Hutch's level by any means, I'm just referring to your comments about a G not being an important position.
