  • Danny Woodhead-RB-Chadron State

I was just reading about him and nfldraftscout.com. I remember hearing the odd piece throughout the season, particularly in reference to the fact that he has more rushing yards than any back in college history.

He's white, which is bad for a RB, but here are his pro-day results
    Dates: 03/12/08
    Height: 5075
    Weight: 197
    40 Yrd Dash: 4.38
    20 Yrd Dash: 2.50
    10 Yrd Dash: 1.44
    225 Lb. Bench Reps: 20
    Vertical Jump: 38
    Broad Jump: 10'01"
    20 Yrd Shuttle: 4.20
    3-Cone Drill: 7.03

He has the yards (albeit against Div-II opponents) and some pretty damn good numbers. Has anyone seen him play? Could he be effective as a KR/PR in the NFL? I'm thinking right now about that David Ball picks in Walter's April Fools draft.

Oh well, it's not like there is huge talent gaps between III and II.

There is. I have a lot of friends who've transferred out to DIII schools from DII. There's a good jump from DII to DI-AA as well, and I'm sure from IAA-IA.

Ok, while you're flying over here I'll inform my buddies in customs to give unusually vigorous cavity searches to anyone coming in the country with a west-coast accent.
