NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports there are "some people that believe" Pacman Jones could be a Cowboy by as soon as next week.
"However, Jones' agent Manny Arora says he's talked to several teams and that the Titans are in no hurry to part with Pacman. Still, Dallas is clearly the early frontrunner. Pacman's suspension is scheduled to be reviewed in July."

If the Cowboys give up no more than a 6th round pick I really don't see the harm here. Unless they are worried about him ruining their team image. I would take the chance on him if I were them.
Do they really need the depth of a 6th round CB or should they take a chance on a troubled CB who is still young and has skills to start if he can get his act together?
