antoine cason is a good player, but is he physical enough to play in gb?

I think so. He's got better physical strength (Read: Benching) than most of the other CB's in the draft. Plus, he's accustomed to man to man coverage. He let less than 1/3rd of the passes that targeted the man he covered be completed.

        My thoughts:

-Vernon Gholston can only play wide end (RE). Derrick Burgess is too solid of an option to draft a backup.

-Glenn Dorsey to 13? Don't see it

-Cincinnati will not pick 3 CBs in 3 years.

-Guards go in the first round.

-Antoin Cason does work for GB.

-New Orleans is officially a huge reach.

-Keith Rivers probably won't fall past Philadelphia.

I agree with everything puppy puncher said.

What you fail to realize is that big reaches happen in every draft so at least 9ers mock is realistic with Phillips to NO since it makes sense.

Why didn't you ever criticze me for that pick in my mock though?

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

"Vernon Gholston can only play wide end (RE)."
So he can't line up against RT?

            Buff picks blow

"Buffalo needs a DE who can pass-rush or stop the run"
no we need a pure pass-rusher

            Erin Henderson
Huh, Kawika Mitchell is the WILL now

I'm not real high on Vernon Gholston. I looked at the Illinois game, I noticed he was trying to run around the tackle, but whenever that tackle could get his hands on Gholston, he kinda just seemed to give up. I don't think you can ask him to be a Leonard Little or Julius Peppers. That's my own personal analysis though.

Also Matt, I'm usually just concerned with who the Ravens are projected to pick in Walter and your drafts.

As a OSU fan he can run over you too.

But when you consider what the value of the 4th pick means to the Raiders now that the Raiders have traded away the second. McFadden's running abilities presents more value than Gholston stopping the run as LE. When people think of Gholston, they think of "sack".

Giants would be committing legal, prosecutable robbery if they got Keith Rivers at #31.

                        Otherwise...
                        - Carl Nicks was taken twice (Atlanta 2nd, San Diego 1st)
                        - DeJuan Tribble is no longer a 2nd round prospect. Or a 3rd. 4.6 40 yard? Ouch.
                        - Erin Henderson won't go to the bills with Kawika Mitchell in.
                        - Bengals will take Dorsey over yet another cornerback.
                        - NE is not a team who will draft based off of the outcome of one game. The right side of the line held up for 18 of their 19 games, including the first matchup with the Giants.
                        - A lot of your descriptions are messed up. I'm sure you noticed already.
                        - Dallas took Devin Thomas and Earl Bennett. I doubt they take both.

He only did the first round. We are supposed to disregard the second round. This explains most discrepancies.

I rethought the Keith Rivers issue, and I bet the Chargers would have Rivers higher than Nicks on their draft board.

                              Oh.

There's still a few goof-ups in the descriptions in round 1. I know the Raven's description is messed up (Pick is Ryan, Description is for Run-DMC)
