Raiders in for Chad Johnson

Apparently they've offered the Bengals Stuart Schweigert, Fabian Washington and an undisclosed 2009 pick believed to be anywhere between a 2nd-4th round pick.

Two things. That trade is so one sided (to the Raiders). Secondly how would they be able to be under the cap next season?

Swapping picks 4 and 9 and throw in the 4th round pick, and a 2009 2nd is adequate value imo.

On a side note I was playing my madden 07 franchise and entering the 4th season so...2010 in the game I drafted a RB in the first round. His name is J'Marcus Mann. I like it.

I heard Chad's rant on a Cincy radio station where he said Since teams can release players they aren't happy with, players should be able to leave a team they aren't happy with. He'd be perfect in Oakland with all the other malcontents.

Well Bluto, you probobly havnt seen me defend Johnson for the last 2 months because of his treatment in Cincy but you can always go to my profile and look it up.

And why in the hell would Cincy give up Chad for any less than a first, third, and another player or pick in this years draft? That's stupid.

Chad's not going anywhere- at least not this year. He doesn't want to be in Cinci, but he'll still play, in hopes of getting traded next year, the Bengals are refusing to let him go- I was hoping that if they won a lot early in the year he would get happy, but they have one of the toughest schedules in the league!

Next year the Bengals are a new team! they may lose Chad AND TJ's contract is in its final year!

there's no way Ocho sits out this year... He'll beg for a trade all he wants, but there's going to come a point when he'll realize that he's not going to be traded this year and he'll play. Even around the time of the Pro Bowl he said something about the "B" on his jersey and that he doesn't have a choice he'll be playing for the Bengals (I can't remember the exact quote). it's not that completely abnormal for him to skip the workout, TJ works out elsewhere as well. Either way it sucks, I'm a Bengals fan, but I'm an Ocho fan too, my fan-hood will soon be divided!

Its crazy to see the Raiders and Cowboys as the two primary teams being associated with McFadden and/or Chad... how do they have the cap room for that??
