  • Bears Wideouts?

Do you think Brandon Lloyd and the return of Marty Booker to the Bears will lead an improved WR corp? I feel that getting these 2 are better than Moose and Berian, even though you lose the long ball with Brenard but if Hester can turn into anything good then we won't be to bad...... Think we still need to draft one?....or two?

I think these new receivers are about 12 steps back from the other ones.

Booker is good but old. Lloyd now...not in Barrian's class.

none of the four would make the packers' roster. hester is the only threat, and they'll draft at least two, probably three wrs. next month.

Trying to turn Devin Hester into a WR was a waste of a training camp.

I like Hester but he has a long, looooooooong way to go.

Brandon Lloyd couldn't even beat out 1002-year-old Keenan McCardell or Ricochet Reche Caldwell in Washington

Maybe I'm alone in thinking that WR isn't a very important position. Most important is the O-Line, then QB. If you've got those two, you don't need a whole lot of talent at wideout.

Now, I'm not saying the Bears have a line or a QB.......which is why they shouldn't be worrying about WR.

Not long ago I would have fully agreed with you. I'm learning that with the rules today, WR is becoming more important. QB and and O-line are still king but it's harder to defend the top quarterbacks and receivers so you may need to score with them. That's what the Patriots realized.

Bears are a lock in my mind to lose 10+ games next year
                      2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats (38-1)

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

Brandon Lloyd might not even make the roster. How could you think that's an upgrade. I'm glad you said there a lock to lose 10. Now I know we'll win at least 7.

not an upgrade in any way, shape, or form. Definitely a downgrade, imo.

I used to think that too, but then I saw the Titans.

You need receivers that can at least catch the ball, let alone score once they do catch it.
