  • Owner's Vote For Defensive Player to Get Mic in Helmet

NFL Owners approved a resolution to allow a communication device to be put in the helmet of a defensive player.

"Each defense will be allowed to have one player on the field wearing the helmet, likely a linebacker. The owners won't vote on a rule limiting the length of hair until their May meeting."

I'm happy that this passed. The less hand signals the better. Of course the Patriots might be dissappointed a little.

As long as they don't make it illegal to make tackles by using the hair, I don't have a problem with allowing long hair. It's really not a benefit to the player.
