  • Trying out some new ads

    Hey guys,

I'm trying out some new ads. My goal is NOT to have any that make noise or bright flashes powerful enough to give anyone a seizure. If you see an ad like that, please let me know when and where on the page you saw it.

Yeah, I absolutely hate flashy, pop-up and noisy ads. We'll never have those here.

Like I said, if you guys find 'em, let me know so I can eliminate them. I'm confident there won't be any, just saying.

Do you think you lose traffic? NFLDC is the most popular draft site on the internet and SW has always had annoying ads.

Well I'd lose some traffic... but I wouldn't want to turn some loyal readers away... I'd also not want to make it a pain in the ass to go to my own site.

Huskers, that might be spyware on your computer. I have no code that would generate pop-ups. I was more concerned with audio/flashy ads.

I haven't seen any new ones yet. NFLDC's are the most annoying ever (besides a wrestling site that gives you 5 popups and redirects you every time you go to the main page).

Yeah, but it isn't really flashy or filled with audio. Besides, it will be gone in a couple weeks when the movie is out of theaters.

Mozilla Firefox, the only pop-ups you get are for porn sites, and if you get those, you're probably looking at a site of low morals anyways.
