The Bengals one of the worst teams in the league next season?

To me at this rate it looks like the team will consist of Palmer, TJ and a bunch of raw rookies and washed up vets.

Now sure most teams with a decent QB normally end up panning out ok, however the Bengals just look so predictable offensively, and his only weapon will be double covered all the time, the less said about the D the better, they'll probably find 2 or 3 starters in the draft on defense, but whether they are noticeably better than the former players from the off, who knows?

i think it depends on their draft and injuries. If the offense can stay healthy and the defensive rookies pan out they could do alright.

Depends laregly on their draft ... total toss up as of now. Chad Johnson is trying to pull a Randy Moss in trying to do anything he can to get traded.

the sad thing is that even with all of those picks spent on RB, its still a HUGE weakness. I mean seriously, Rudi Johnson?

after their bad luck/scouting of the 2nd and 3rd round RBs of the past few years, i am thinking that they could just pick a sure fire guy like Mendenhall or Stewart, and just put the position away for a decade

what about the possibility of the cowboys getting chad for a 1st rounder, who do you think the first 2 picks for the bengals would be then? i'm guessing ellis/rivers and stewart

LOL, no way. I can't believe anyone would offer higher then a 3rd for him. He is a malcontent and could do in his new city what he is doing right now.

he is not a trouble maker, he has no history with the law, so i doubt he would do the same thing at a new place

If Rudy Johnson isnt the runner he once was the offense will struggle.

Since the defense already sucks a$$ it can only get better. Good enough to make it into the playoffs No, good enough to keep them from drafting in the Top 10 next year possible.

The Bengals are a crap shoot at this point in time. Can they improve, hell yes. Will they improve, it is yet to be seen.

Johnson doesnt like the Bengals. The Bengals dont like Johnson. The fans blame all the Bengals problems on Johnson. Johnson lashes out. It is a very bad fit yet the Bengals are intent on making his life hell by not even entertaining a trade.

So Johnson will keep lashing out and the majority will continue to bash him and call him a malcontent regardless of how hard he plays, how well he plays, or how bad he gets screwed over.
