  • Malcolm Kelly sets up another workout…

KTBB Sports has learned OU wide receiver Malcolm Kelly will hold another workout on Sunday, April 13th, in Atlanta, under the direction of former Green Bay Packers receiver Boyd Dowler. Apparently Pro Scouts will not be able to attend, but Dowler will be sending the video and information to all 32 NFL teams and various media outlets.

This coming on the heels of a tumultous workout in Norman on Wednesday.

He'll need it. What a whiny piece of crap. Read his quotes...

Talk about an ungrateful piece of ****. Never mind the college tuition, board and kickbacks you got that good students can't afford. Not to mention getting you out of the slums! If you need special shoes for a special track then you've got more of a speed problem than just different turfs.

I don't think its whiny at all. I like a kid with some balls and stands up for himself. That right there is the "it" factor to me. I hate people that just sit back and take ****.

this is similar to complaining about the officials in a game. you have to be better than the excuse, rise above it. yes, it was true and it makes for a hard situation, but he clearly needs some maturity. it looks to me like a javon walker waiting to happen.

I agree with that to an extent, but he came off as a self serving moron who couldn't care about anything but money. Also, if he needs such special circumstances to run fast he'll never be fast.

On a side note, I'd like to see all prospects run the 40 on turf and grass. It would be good to see how it translates since all stadiums are not turf.

              Lol, that'll never happen.

I watched the actual interview, most of these quotes are actually being taken out of context. God forbid they quote the part where he's saying that he isn't happy with himself. He was pretty laid back when saying:

"This is my life. You know what I'm saying?"

His stupid comments along with his lack of speed also seem to be hurting his draft status.

Personally with the crap hes come out with blaming everyone but himself I wouldn't want a moron like him on my team. I can only imagine him after a sore defeat or a locker room bust up never mind a bad 40 time.

Wait. This softer surface is more realistic to playing conditions, apparently.

If Kelly's only able to pull off a 4.75 on that... meh.

He guys, just to be the 40 time police again. Apparently, and remember that pro day 40 times are very whimsical, he ran twice. One was 4.75 and the other 4.68.

When guys run fast people always bring up the fastest time, and when they run slow they talk the slowest time. Those of you saying McFadden ran 4.27, you have to say that Kelly ran 4.68.

                            Officially DMac ran 4.33.

But I with techno. 40's should be run on field turf or grass. Who cares how fast the guys can run on a track?

I dont hate is attitude, I love it. I like guys who get mad when they dont succeed. I couldnt care less what he runs the next 40 or 38 since no one will be there to measure other than him.
