The ESPN reporter said it took West Virginia to be down 14-0 to get concerned and focused. Why weren't they concerned in the first place? They seriously underestimated the Bulls tonight.

Great game, missed quarters 2 and 3 because I totally dominated at the ping pong table going 8-1. I was really in the zone and I hit some really sweet winners my cross table forehand was just on fire, but anyways...

Player Evaluations:

Matt Grothe: Good arm strength. Wasn't impressed by his decision making. Needs to improve on his footwork. Good poise in the pocket. Good mobility. I don't really ever see him as a day one QB prospect.

George Selvie: Very athletic and can get by his man. Has that quick twitch athleticism that you need to be a dominating DE in the NFL. Needs to put on weight. Did get dominated at times in the running game by the OT. I want to see him put on 15 pounds. Very raw, but has talent and I think he has first round potential in 2 years.

Trae Williams: Impressive coverage skills. Has good speed, fluid hips. Probably best suited in a man-man scheme and not a cover 2. Ball skills are average. Needs to improve technique and limit mental mistakes. Didn't seem to have a very good vertical jump to challenge jump balls.

Mike Jenkins: Very good speed. Can play zone or man. Hips looked somewhat stiff and times and but he has speed to recover. I liked his ball skills. Good awareness.

WVU
Steve Slaton: Looks like a product of the system, not the first round pick people made him out to be and I said this before this game. His speed is very good in the open field but he doesn't hit the hole between the tackles as hard as he should be. Toughness? Not very good after the first hit. Good burst.

Owen Schmitt: Great receiver out of the backfield. Average speed. Decent blocker. Versatile. Good runner. Looks like a late round fullback and/or H-Back for the 2009 Draft class.

Darius Reynaud: Didn't see much out of him. Not his fault his QBs are horrible throwers.

Matt McGuire: Can still type legibly despite playing nine games of beer pong. How do you do it? I can' t even see the keyboard once I start drinking.

Anyway...

Grothe is a nice college QB, but he seems limited in what he can do, sort of like J.P. Losman.

No love for Ben Moffitt?
