Good read, although I don't agree with all of it. I think a CB at 22 would be fine, especially when you consider JAX, TEN, or PIT could steal their guy.

I'm surprised the word "McFadden" doesn't show up.

I disagree with your assessment that Marion Barber is a workhorse back. He came up very short in the second half of the Giants game.

Barber is as good around the goal line and runs as hard as any back in the league. If given a chance he d be a great feature back. I don't think you can judge his whole season or his worth based on one bad game.

Well they just offered Jones a 30 Million Dollar package so I believe they think he's the man. That being said I think they go CB/WR or WR/CB 22 and 28 if they dont trade up for DRC.

No, I think you can. Barber would have been the feature back by now if he could be. Maybe he should play 66% of the offensive snaps rather than 33%.

I could have said the same thing about Earnest Graham. Never got playing time, then he had a really solid season.
              2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats (38-1)

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

I'm not talking about production. I'm talkin' bout stamina.

Not that many backs can carry the ball 25 times a game, and if they do they wear down quickly in the course of their career.

The Cowboys can find a very solid runningback in the first three rounds, they don't have to do it in the first though.

Yes, I agree that it might be best to wait for someone like a Jamaal Charles or a Chris Johnson in the second.

This is straying away from Barber being a feature back though.

How many "feature" backs are there in the NFL though? Most teams need a 1-2 combo. That doesn't take away from Barber's ability.

He is asking for top 5 RB money, so he better be a high carry back. I dont think they give him the cash, but they need a speed compliment anyway.
                        Bears offseason wish list:

Jay Cutler, I am good, for now.

They should get a speed guy, but they should get him in the middle rounds. Ray Rice, Felix Jones, Dontrell Savage, etc.
