Now I know this is going to be something new but I want to see how accurate you people think I am. It is a near toss up between 1 and 2 as well as 3 and 4 so here we go.
1) New England- Besides the obvious Tom Brady and Randy Moss, the main reason this offense is so good however is the offensive line. They can run block with power, pull to the outside, heck I could have a 120 QB Rating with Ohio University's recieving core behind that line. Brady and Moss are two of the best players and Meroney is a good young RB but that line makes them the best.
2) Indianapolis- Top 2 QB in Payton Manning that makes the offense go. Quick Riseing superstar RB Joseph Addai is already one of the best in the league. They have the best recieving core I have seen since the Rams Holt, Azir-Hakim. and Bruce early this century in Harrison, Wayne, and the rookie Gonzalez. The line surprisingly to me has only lost a small fraction of a step from Tarik Glenn's retirement and will be better than last year by mid-season.
3) Cincinnati- Even though RB Rudi Johnson is not having his typical 1300 yard season he is still going to get 1100 yards and 10 touchdowns. Their offensive line dispite the loss of Eric Steinbach is still one of the top lines in the AFC. The Bengals also have 3 X-factors; Carson Palmer (#3 QB in the NFL), Chad Johnson (Top 3 reciever in the NFL), and T.J Houshmandzadeh (Top two second option reciever in the AFC).
4) Pittsburgh- I know this may be questioned but the line has been excellent, RB Willie Parker has been unbelieveable, and QB Ben Roethlisberger has rebounded from a dismal year to be what could be a career season. The Recievers are one of the better cores in the AFC and Bruce Arians is letting the players do their job their way which is working due to the intelligence of the players. The offense is one of the league's best this year.
5) Cleveland- Surprise offense of the year. They have scored over 24 points every game this year after scoring over 24 only thee times I believe last year. Their line is doing a great job and getting better every week. RB Jamal Lewis is bruising and keeping defenses honest which means no more eight men in coverage which means the Browns Dynamic Duo of TE Kellen Winslow and WR Braylon Edwards get to play their game and make big plays. The most surprising and catalyst to this surge is Quarterback Derek Anderson. This kid is proving he belongs in this league with his ability, leadership, and confidence making the Browns one of the best offenses in the AFC. If he keeps up his play the Browns may be playing into the playoffs.
There you are. My top 5. What do you think about this and please don't spare my feelings if you don't agree.
