Considering they have Hollywood Brown and Mandrews, you'd think they have enough for more than one read.

Poor Joe Burrow. Also, are the Browns good? Like, they will probably make the postseason. But are they actually good?sigpic

For the Steelers it's the game that could put them on the fast track to winning the division and securing the first round bye: super important now that there's only one and the Steelers were forced into an early bye. For the Ravens, they may need this one to stay alive. The AFC wildcard race is a tight one, and that team just seems off. They will bring it though: they know their backs are to the wall.

I don't think that OBJ was as much of a problem as the system we implemented with him was. Baker always had the option of audibling his route as the hot route if he was one on one with a defender. Baker made a lot of mistakes because of that, trying to put the ball to that match up, and defenses disguising their coverages took advantage of it.
If we can just add OBJ to our current scheme, without the option to hot route him all the time, I think he'd be fine.
In more important news, Washington popped the latch, and Buffalo kicked the door wide open on the AFC North race. I don't think Pittsburgh can lose to the Burrow-less Bengals, but the Colts game became a lot more interesting. If the Browns keep winning, and the Steelers drop the Colts game, week 17 is a slugfest for the divisional crown.

At least the defense is still good? Even with injuries they are playing well. They just get into weird stretches where they feel like they need to blitz like crazy. Like they are trying to channel the old LeBeau scheme.
Honestly, Cleveland is starting to look like a legitimate football team. They have that same vibe Tennessee had last year, where they are just pummeling teams and getting hot at the end of the year.sigpic
