Pittsburgh will push for all 3 Watts, I'm sure. Pouncey and Vance McDonald retiring will cover about half of the cap space they need, I think? And it sounds like Ben's 19 mil will be moved around too. After that, a couple of restructures and roster adjustments, and they would be under the cap again.

Apparently he is willing to take a big paycut, and Rooney has already said they need to get his cap number down. It gets more interesting now though. Pouncey, Vance McDonald, and Randy Fichner are all gone. Wonder if that changes his mind.

Call me contrary, but I doubt Ben leaves a penny on the table. I think they restructure him, by adding a few ghost years to his contract to spread out the hit but he still gets every last dollar. I'd rather he just retired and went away.

2021 NFL QB ALPHA RANKINGS

#1 Trevor Lawrence

Trevor recently got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Marissa Mowry and while getting locked down is a bit of a hit to the old alpha, she's basically the definition of a mousey brunette. She's pretty, in good shape, has nice hair, but would get lost in a sea of polar fleece, yoga pants, ugg boots, and pumpkin frappachinos. Lucky for Trevor, I actually prefer mousey brunettes. 8/10

#2 Zach Wilson

Zach's going all in for a blonde basic white girl named Abie Gile, and she's fine, but bland. Like grilled chicken and rice. It's fine, it's great, it's what we all need in our lives, but there's nothing really much to either really applaud or denigrate. He does get some added swagger thanks to having pictures of him floating about with other girls, as this BYU boy apparently got around more than the mormon's would have liked. 8/10

#3 Justin Fields

Justin ain't got no lady, so he ain't getting no grade. Normally, you'd expect a low grade, but I save those for pathetic cases like Jimmy Pickles or DeShone "King of the Friendzone" Kizer. I respect that he's apparently all business, but that doesn't mean I'm not keeping a close eye on him.

#4 Trey Lance

Come on Trey, even Carson Wentz got himself a girlfriend at NDSU, you can't tell me there's nobody for you either. Lance seems to be another one of those "helicopter moms" where the only female ever around him is their mom. I don't like having multiple no grades in our top QBs. It's just unfun.

#5 Mac Jones

Alright, Mac. Last time Bama had a QB worth a damn, his girlfriend was hot enough the announcers were creeping on her during live TV and she became a household name so you better not let me down like Lance and Fields.... and... okay. He's been dating a girl names Sophie Scott, and again she just looks like a normal everyday pretty brunette pretending to be blonde. 7.5/10

#6 Kyle Trask

Okay Florida, impress me. Trask is dating a blonde softballer named Jade Caraway... which is a precious stone and a spice all in one name, so she better be stellar. But... eh.... half her photos she looks like she's 18, and the other half she looks like she's 38. It's like in the candid photos of her playing, she looks great but when she's taking a picture in normal times she looks like a mom already. I guess the nicest thing I can say is that in 25 years, she'll probably look exactly the same as she does today and be a total cougar. Honestly, she looks best in her softball uniform. 6.5/10

#7 Kellen Mond

Can't find info on it, but his instagram has him with a pretty girl with a big smile and a dump truck booty, and despite not knowing anything else, I'm already approving. 8/10


I'm sad that this year I wasn't absolutely blown away by anyone's WAG. None of them were picking low hanging fruit, but nobody I'd be tripping over myself trying just to talk to if I saw out and about.
