  • *I have a feeling that if the Rams dont select...

Chris Long at #2 that he mayslide out of the top 5. I am pretty much sold on the rams pickin dorsey at number #2. Now don't get me wrong i think Chris Long is going to have a great career but based on team needs he may be passed up on, anyway here is my top 10 picks from my mock(soon to be posted come friday).

    Dolphins - Jack Long (duhh)
Rams - Glenn Dorsey - im sold on this pick
    Falcons - Seddrick Ellis
    Oakland - Darren McFadden
    Chiefs - Ryan CLady
    Jets - Chris Long
    NE - Leodis McKelvin
    Ravens - Matt ryan
    Bengals - Keith Rivers
    Saints - Vernon Gholston

    Falcons

Based on needs, the falcons really need a tackle, with Dorsey off the board this pick makes a lot of sense, why not grab the second best Defensive Tackle in the draft.

    Cheifs

This pick is very tough, Chris Long is an option here but i believe that they may pass on him If they are serious about rebuilding there Oline.

anyway its just a thought, i know its an ODD top ten lol....maybe i have been watching Path to the draft a little to much lol..

I think the Chiefs take Chris Long if Sedrick Ellis isn't available.

because Matt Ryan is liked more by the FO to be hte franchise QB than Ellis is liked. we'd be more likely to go Ryan than Ellis.

i was debating between ryan and ellis, i heard on NFL network that John david Booty had a very good work out in Atlanta which sort of(not really) made me lean to them selecting a DT in round 1. i wouldnt be shocked at all if RYan was selected by Atlanta tho.

Yeah, I said under the assumption that they take Glenn Dorsey. I would hope that he would be higher on their board.

                        Franchise QB

How did that work out for greats like Andre Ware, Ryan Leaf, Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Rex Grossman, Matt Leinart, Jay Cutler (overrated so far), or Michael Vick?

The two words "franchise QB" do not win football games.

Vick... was... kinda. Sorta. I mean, he wasn't a traditional QB by any means, but he at least was a viable face of the franchise. Y'know, until we realized that everyone's favorite VTech quarterback had a hobby of murdering domesticated animals.

And I'm not willing to say that Leinart or Cutler are in the list of Overrated/Bust QB's, not yet. This time next year, sure. But look at Eli Manning. He took four years, but as far as we all think, he's "Franchise QB" material.

Dogs used for dog fighting are by no means "domesticated".

At least Manning is a hard worker and he was great in the 2 minute drill his entire career.

Leinart gets benched by his head coach. Cutler lacks consistency.

My point was how overrated the Franchise QB label is. Alex Smith was drafted to be a franchise QB...how many games has he won?

Was David Garrard a "franchise QB" last year? What about Tony Romo 2 years ago?

They can come out of nowhere.
