Pats say they love Ellis...hmm I wonder why?

They want Ellis to fall, and squeeze as much value with a potential trade with the Saints (or Bengals) as possible.

So I don't think New England loves Ellis, they are acting like they love Ellis to scare CIN and NO.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

I think the Pats take Rivers and put him at ILB.

Call me crazy but I'm buying into the rumors.

No way anyone really thinks they'll take him at #7.

I'd chuckle for quite a bit if they actually did it.

Ellis doesn't even fit into their defense. And Belichick is big into drafting for his scheme. This obviously isn't going to happen.

If, for some reason, DRC and McKelvin are both off the board, or NE isn't high on them, Rivers would be the pick.

Pats can get an extra pick that way and get the remaining Best Defensive Player Availible. Nice thinking to scare those smaller than themselves. Very smart.

And he just said that Ryan Clady could fall to #19.

Well players do fall in the draft, but the best left tackle?

I didn't see a lot of noticeable smokescreens on draft day.

The Bears pick did not surprise me at all as they showed a lot of interest in him. I was able to predict quite a few picks and I based it mostly on who they showed the most interest.
