Advertising the boards....

With the site basically set now (a good quality messageboard to complement the main site) do you guys think we should try and advertise the site a fair bit on other sites?

I'm not saying we should go on forums and create topics spamming the place to plug the site (well you can obviously do it if you like just I would choose what ones I advertise it on wisely as spamming can sometimes merit as much as a permanent ban) but just simple things such as putting the site in your sig on other forums you use, ask guys you know to join the site etc etc.

What do you all think?
