Packers and the Chargers in Super-Bowl (2009).…Interesting

Can't really see the Pack making the Super Bowl. Aaron Rodgers should be solid but Brett Favre made everyone around him better.

Brett Favre was the reason why they haven't advanced in the playoffs over the past 5 years...he makes bad decisions.

If anything he kept them from making the Super Bowl with that INT last year.

Favre took a lot of risks over time but most of them payed off and that is what made him so great. No quarterback entering the league should ever watch Favre on film to learn how to better play the game.

That said, do you really think Aaron Rodgers is capable of leading the youngest team in the NFL to the Super Bowl in his first year starting? That's a pretty tall task for someone who hasn't started an NFL game yet.

He hasn't started, but he has a ton of experience with the playbook and he has a lot of expierience for a backup. He's also on a loaded offense with a ton of talent around him.

This was a top 5 talent we were talking about in the 2005 Draft, and he hasn't done anything to negate that yet over his career.

Roethlisberger and Rivers are the two latest examples of players taking over loaded teams but still being unable to reach the Super Bowl in their first year starting.

Neither of those players had the football IQ that Rodgers does now. Also I don't think their offenses were as good as the Packers this season as far as all-around talent at OL, RB, WR, and TE.
