At least you traded up for Martin Rucker.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

I don't think I'd give an extension to Winslow if I was Phil Savage. Time is running out for K2KneeSurgeriesAYear

This is ridiculous...he is signed through 2010 and he wants to redo his deal?

Savage isn't going to do this, and he shouldn't. I don't see hte leverage that KWJr2 has here.

lol, I dun think dat look rite.

I can't blame Kellen Winslow though. He knows that he is ****ed and is probably looking to assure security for his early retirement.

I agree Puppy. I could see him leaving the game in a few years. Sad too because he could have been something special for a long time.

He just has no work ethic, no discipline. He just doesn't care. It is his loss, though.

Actually Niner Winslow has a much better work ethicnow, a lot more discipline, and cares a lot more. Otherwise he wouldnt have had back to back 80 catch years. Have to be doing something right to get that. Plus I'm sure there are a few teams that would offer a #1 Draft Choice for him if he plays hard ball.

Please talk about what you know, but don't speculat on something you do not know of.

He is rehabbing for the love of Christmas, He is not even the one to blame for this speculation. That honor goes to NFL.com and his cameo prior to the draft. The subject of a new contract was presented to him and K2 neither agreed nor did he disagreed with that statement. The person fueling this issue the most has been the Cleveland Plain Dealer sports reporter Tony Grossi.
The team has not heard from him nor have they heard from his agent regarding a new contract.
If a hold out was imminent, wouldn’t there have already been some dialog between the Browns and his agent?

"It's not a big deal," Josh Cribbs said. "If he was here, he'd be hurt."
Cribbs added, "It's not a question of his character because he plays like a soldier. When he gets here he's going to work his butt off."

                    Nuff said!

Are you selling news pappers these days Joey?

since his rookie year, he hasn't attended the OTA's in May... This isn't new... I think this thread belongs in the rumor mill

Hell if I know. I just read it Dawg. Dont know if it was a rumor or a fact. As for me I would love it if he stayed his entire career. Injuries and all.

The only reason I won't completely discount that possibility is because Matt Millen still somehow has control over player personnel on an NFL team.

Ok seriously??? I think he's an above average player, but I don't think the Browns would be pond scum if he ended up leaving for so called greener pastures. I remember when the Browns drafted him they thought he would be the most elite Tight end in the league based on potential, but I still think it's just potential right now even with his 80 plus catches b/c he can be injury prone and he's been known to be a whiney arse crybaby as well....If he left I wouldn't be too bent out of shape over it as long as they picked up a decent Tight End to replace him with....
