Week 6 NFL Picks Posted

As always, I enjoy (and appreciate) the analysis, and the time that it takes you to type all this out. It doesn't hurt, the amount of good humor mixed in as well.
Just my $.02 on the picks themselves:
So far I'm on (through Bodog):
SD -10
NE -6 (this one is now at 6 1/2 - would love to see it get to 7 1/2 and maybe buy some back and shoot for the middle)
Carolina +4 1/2 (this one is now at 4 - it may end up meaning nothing, but I feel better that I got in before it moved)
Miami +5
Houston +7
I'm going to hold off for now on the Chiefs +3 and the Falcons +3 1/2... I'm curious to see if your predictions come through on the public money coming in, and maybe moving the line in our favor. I'd love to get the Chiefs at 3 1/2 and/or the Falcons at 4.
Best of luck! -
Thanks Brian.
Those bodog lines can get you sometimes - or at least make you feel pretty uncomfortable.
Good luck with your picks this weekend.Comment

Heh.....I got quoted.
Keep in mind that I'm picking Cleveland not because I'm high on the Browns (c'mon now), but because Miami is so awful. I've never even seen Crusty Lemon or whoever play, and he's on the road.
Ravens were probably a better pick, but they're going to need to score more than 3 fieldgoals to win by 10. Heh.Last edited by Egg; 10-12-2007, 02:06 AM.Comment

As far as differences, I've got Cincinnati, Houston, Cleveland, St Louis, and Arizona. I don't mind going with the crowd, since betting trends don't affect the outcome of the game.....only the Vegas line.
By the way...where do you get your betting trends info?Comment

I have a friend who works at the Mirage and sends me over spread sheets multiple times during the week. Had stat classes with him at PSU.Comment
