Greg, feel free to commend NFL players that are truly great citizens of this country and represent this leauge well.
Bill Parcells said 3% of this league gets in trouble with the law. But I just feel like we focus way too much on this 3% rather than the 97%2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats (38-1)
Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

Football is entertainment. Talking about the three percent is entertainment.
People are expected to be good, especially when they're paid millions to be role models. These idiots just threw it all away.

"Hollywood" Henderson was a Class A chump who was never able to back up his trash talk with actual play on the field.
He famously taunted Terry Bradshaw before the Super Bowl, saying Brad was too dumb to spell CAT if you spotted him the C and the T.
Fact is, I can't remember how many times Henderson's Cowboys actually beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl.
Oh, that's right.

Ray Lewis has suffered enough, Commissioner Paul Tagliabue of the National Football League said in a conference call yesterday in explaining why he did not suspend the All-Pro linebacker who pleaded guilty to obstructing justice in a murder case.
''It's the courts who have the primary responsibility in this case,'' Tagliabue said. ''We're not a substitute for the courts.''
''The offense was a misdemeanor; he had no problems before that and hadn't violated league policies,'' Tagliabue said of Lewis's guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of obstructing justice in a deal with Atlanta prosecutors, who dropped murder charges against the Ravens star.

And just for good measure, in case anyone thought I was making up the whole thing about Hollywood Henderson doing cocaine on the sideline in Super Bowl XIII, here's the link: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...ge=hill/070201
"Before Robinson, there was Cowboys linebacker Thomas "Hollywood" Henderson, who admitted to sniffing cocaine right before the kickoff of Super Bowl XIII at the Orange Bowl in 1979."Originally posted by bills_redI'll bet my left nut you insulted 80% of the people here.

And Matt I agree with you that we don't focus enough on the 97% of athletes who are good guys.
It just seems amazing to me how even 3% of these guys throw away golden opportunities that are handed to them, you know?Originally posted by bills_redI'll bet my left nut you insulted 80% of the people here.
