  • Class in session: NFL Draftology

I am starting a series on the site in which I investigate my theories on the draft and explain the draft in a way you have never seen before. You will be familiar with a lot of material, but I don't think a lot of people conscientiously think about it...and I have discussed a lot of it here already so it's not going to be as new to you as to a person that just visits the site and not the forums.

Anyways I am thinking Walter is going to post it tonight or tomorrow. It is something really different. Basically what I do is take a step back at the draft, analyze certain picks, strategies, and even what I think the future of the draft entails.

it is something I'm really excited about. I hope you enjoy it...just wanted to start up some mini-hype.

Anyways here is the first two Draftology lectures.

i look forward to reading it but this is about the worst group to write that article to since we all have strong opinions on draft strategy and whatnot.

I'm not trying to change your opinions. The first article you won't learn much (you will when I discuss the end of the article) but as i go deeper and deeper into it I think you guys will learn a lot of things about draft theory.

good article Matt, though you are right that there isn't much to learn for forum members.

Next article will be much better. You've heard me talk about it before, but I will explain why you all have a bias in big boards and such.
