Saints close to Colston extension

Marques Colston has spent the past two years on seventh-round pick pay. Needless to say he's outperformed his current deal and is about to get rich very soon. I'll put up details when I get them.

Good to see a very deserving player getting a lucrative contract extension. Particularly since he outperformed a lot of higher paid players.

it was about time the Saints got lucky in the draft. Marques isn't just an awesome wide receiver- he's a classic team-first hard-worker and a Saint even when out of uniform. I can't believe 251 guys were picked ahead of him.
