  • Big Wide Receivers

Is it just me or are most of the top Wide Receivers in this class tall. My top 8 Receivers in the 2009 Draft Class have an average size of 6'1 with only one guy under 6'0. Doesn't that seem like a tall average?

well considering seven of your top eight are brian robiskie, the average should be high.

I think next year's WR class has some versatility like the 2008 class did. Maclin and Harvin are going to measure in 1-2 inches than what they are listed at. They are two of the best receivers in this class. Demetrius Byrd looks to be 6'.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

Think the biggest surprise of the 8 is Kenny Britt from Rutgers who comes in at 7. He is 6'4.

Britt was going to make my all-underrated team before Walter had to steal him in my idea and then he miraculously appears in his WR rankings.

He's the best blocking WR in the college game. Solid possession target with some juice.

You like Maclin and Harvin more than Crabtree?

Pretty overrated class, if you ask me. I like Aaron Kelly though.

He fits the mold of a Ravens receiver. Big and slow.

Why don't you read what I said "two of the best" not "the two best"

I think Britt could go Round 1 if he gets his 40 up a few hundredths of a second.

Yeah, I'm sure a few hundreths of a second are going to really boost him up to the first round.

Forties are somewhat overrated IMO. What did Malcolm Kelly run? 4.7? I still had him my #1 receiver and alot of "experts" did also until they seen his 40 they dropped him 4-5 spots. I think that's ridiculous.

                          At least he isn't injured.

Yep it's true. Whatever team ended up with Malcolm Kelly got a hell of a player way later than he should have gone. Lucky them.

I think it was pretty ridiculous he was the #1 WR on people's boards to begin with. Don't get me wrong I gave him a 2nd round grade, but he doesn't offer much after the catch. Could be a Michael Clayton type.
