Glad to hear they got him locked up, but that price is ridiculous if true.

He deserves it. Glad he got a contract like that.

But the maximum contract is fully dependent on him playing on the level of a #1 WR. I doubt that happens.

            Are you ****ting me!?

10 million a year for a return specialist? That is absurd.

he'll never reach that. it's an extension so we have him locked up for the next 6 yrs.

10 mil for a return specialist and a player like Larry Fitzgerald, though is totally reasonable.

Everyone's missing that he's only going to get the 10 mil/year if he plays at an elite level at WR.

4 years, $16M guaranteed is a very fair deal. Good for Hester and glad to see one team in the NFL is properly giving their players contracts.
                    2014-2015 Kentucky Wildcats (38-1)

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

the last 2 years could be worth $10 mil each so its more like 4 yrs $20 mil max which im fine with.

He's my favorite player for sure but man that's a lot of money for someone who doesn't even get the ball as a receiver.... I'm not sure he's worth that much but heck I don't want him wearing anything but Blue and Orange so I'm still happy

Devin Hester is the best player at his position, a position that's becoming more important every year. The Eagles took a return specialist in the second round, and other teams are starting to look at them early as well. Hester changes your entire gameplan, affects field position and can win 2-3 games on his own. This contract is very fair.
