  • buying draft picks?

    has anyone ever thought of the idea, what if a team has a lot of cap room and doesn't want free agents or whatever. what if they went to some cap-heavy team and said, i'll give you 6 million for your second rounder.

    there has to be some kind of rule against that, but wouldn't it be neat? or am I just an idiot. or both.

    Umm, don't think you can trade cap-room. This would only be theoretically feasible if a really cashed up franchise was offering to a super-lam-o totally broke and couldn't afford to even pay their players franchise.
