  • Looking ahead... Pats 16-0? 19-0?

I don't think either one is a guarantee just yet. I'm not saying the can't happen or won't happen, but it isn't as automatic as just beating the Colts in the regular season.

First off the Colts showed the Pats weakness. Stopping the run. Normally the Pats are ahead in the game and don't have to worry about the run as much, but if a team can slow down the offense they'll be able to run on their defense. What team can do this? The Pittsburgh Steelers. A great defense and a great running game.

Week 13 the Pats play Baltimore. An almost for sure win, but a very tough physical defense with something to prove (since AD was talking smack). The could bang up the Pats some. Week 14, the Pats have a short week and play the Steelers. Pittsburgh on the other hand has a normal week and will have faced the Bengals the week before.

If the Pats get through Pittsburgh they also have the Giants to beat when they could potentially be playing for nothing having already clinched home field throughout.

They will also most likely have to face at least Indy if not Indy and the Steelers in the playoffs.

Is 19-0 possible? Ya and more like probable, but anything can happen in the NFL.

Haha no, I posted that a few hours before NFL Live came on. I did watch NFL Live though and they mentioned "The Pats have Ben Roethlisbergers number" that may or may not be true, but regardless the running game is the key. The Steelers shouldn't be overlooked and neither should the playoffs.

Well if they ever come to you and ask for a new analyst recommendation you know who to say.

The Jets have a better chance of beating then Pats.
