  • Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota

the official word right now (according to CBS Sportsline) on "All-Day", Partially torn LCL in his knee, out indefinately at the moment.

According to Childress, they grade these tears on a 1 to 3 scale with 3 being the worst.

    Peterson's grade is 2+...

Many figured it was only a matter of time for before Peterson did go down...

That sucks, I was looking forward to watching him make a run at Dickerson's record. Maybe my prop for Marshawn Lynch offensive ROY will pan out

I remember you calling the injury... week 14 i think you said. Pretty close if that's the correct week.

Like I said before though... it's Rookie OF THE YEAR, not of the first half of the season. If Peterson doesn't play the rest of the year I don't think he should be rookie of the year.

I'm assuming he gets passed up by Lynch. If Peterson makes a full recovery this could work out well for the Vikings. They'll obviously play like hell the rest of the season without their ONLY offensive weapon and lose most games... thus moving up in the draft (yay!)

I can't believe Mr. Glass got injured, who would have ever seen that coming. I don't know......... maybe the six teams that past on him in the first place.

I have to admit, he sure is a great back, he has some mad skills. I does suck to see such a good runner go down, I hope he makes it back soon.

As far as rookie of the year goes it's wide open now, if Peterson doesn't come back soon.

Now i'm a Brown's fan so you know what i'm going to say, but i'll say it anyway. I know Joe Thomas won't win ROY, but at this point he should.

Why? Well first off they say he hasn't allowed a sack all year, but if you ask me I would say he gave up one sack in the first Pittsburgh game, so let's just say he has given up one sack. Now the question is, being a left tackle and allowing one sack through the first nine games and have one of the best pass offences in the leauge that has to say alot for Joe Thomas. Also the Browns have used Joe over on the right side for some running play, now how may left tackles have you seen line up on the right side for a run play, let alone a Rookie (of the year, maybe).

So that's my case for Joe Thomas for ROY.

P.S. will someone get some crazy clue for Mr. Glass.

I like the Joe Thomas thing, but if Marcus McNeil opens lanes for a RB that breaks the single season TD record and doesn't get the nod then I doubt Thomas will.
