  • Any thoughts on first international NFL team

I can see them having a Mexico City or maybe Montreal team. A merger with the CFL would be cool, but all the CFL teams would suck for 20 years

    I am 100% against it.

It is the NATIONAL Football League. Not Major Football League. Not International Football League.

    Football is America's true pasttime.

The NFL is fine the way it is now. I think any more than 32 teams is bad for the League. I don't want to see a team in Las Vegas, or any other pro sports wannabe.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

I don't really feel strongly for or against it. I'm all for expanding globally, but what would putting teams in international cities accomplish, exactly? If they want to assemble their own teams and challenge our Super Bowl champion, I'm all for that.

If the name of a league has naything to do with this, then why are the Blue Jays in the American League???

Or why do we have teams in Canada for the National Hockey League or National Basketball Association.

I have no problem with those leagues expanding globally because hockey is huge in Canada...but change the name of the league. It is either a national organization or it isn't.

I am very against it as well. Look at the NBA. No Americans want to play there, and they don't have a big enough fan base to make them stay.
