  • Madden = Idot ?

Madden thinks it is stupd for a team that is getting hammered to attempt to score a TD late in the game, but he is fine with the team doing the a$$ kicking to run up the score?

Inside 20 seconds, he tried to make the point that the Bills are as guilty as the Patriots running up the score by, what, running plays? He said you're risking injury blah blah blah by using timeouts (as far as I know, the only team that called time out in the 2nd half was New England). The Bills got whipped but played like Gentlemen at the end. They did not use cheap shots (personal foul on the Pats on the punt), they played their subs once the game was over (Josh Stamer, Fred Jackson, et. al) and they were calling run plays and pass plays the last several drives.

I cannot believe he criticized the Bills as if they were calling times out and spiking the ball. They were just playing out the game with dignity.

While on the other side of the field, the Pats going for it on 4th down leading by 28 and 35 respectively, and keeping Rodney Harrison and Stroke Boy in the game on the last drive.

All the Bills were doing was running plays and running out the clock. Did he want them to just take a knee the last 30 plays? They brought in second and third team guys and finished the game out with dignity.

Also I like how Moss pushes off, he has nice fourm, gets his hands extended well.

The Bills shouldn't have had their starters in there. They're in the middle of a playoff race, and they couldn't afford any injuries.

I pointed out that Moss pushes off all the time in the Pats-Colts thread. I love Moss, but he was so whiny when they finally called him for it in that game.

Also, I think Maddens Legacy as an idiot was established prior to this game lol

I've seen worse push-offs from Moss not called. This one wasn't that bad.

I guess I'm the only one on here who likes Madden.

No way man, I'm a huuuge Madden fan. Maybe you're watching a boring game and THEN BOOM JOHN MADDEN WITH A WHITTY COMMENT! I find Madden hilarious and I love his rants about nothing. I saw a game one time where he seriously went on for 5 min about coffee and then made a terrible relation to football. Something like "Coffee coffee coffee, and then you got Decafe and french vanilla, that's my favorite. People forget about how good French Vanilla Coffee can be... uh so it's like the fullback"
