  • Oklahoma State and Florida State blowing it

Ugh, sucking big time. The system of taking double-digit underdogs in huge rivalries usually works. Not today.

And yeah, I know Matt, you told me Florida would slaughter FSU, blah blah, LOL.

Oklahoma State isn't that good of a team I'm really not shocked at all Oklahoma is blowing them out.

Tebow is getting partially exposed in this game. The system hides his faults as a QB and it is why I have been saying all season that he won't/shouldn't be a high draft pick. Poor footwork. Fidgety in the pocket. Teams have to account for the option. Doesn't have to make checks/reads in the offense (is Harvin open...No? Okay run to space).

However, Florida is a damn good football team. I was pretty surprised Florida was getting that spread.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

Well, I finished 5-4 in college on the week, but I lost all three of my big plays.

That doesn't matter. He is in a gimmick offense and Urban Meyer could give a **** about his pro career. He is going to pound Tebow into submission and he could have a serious injury any time he carries the ball but UM doesn't care.

I mean look at Alex Smith. He is having a very hard time grasping a west coast offense, Tebow will have the same trouble.

The player no one is talking about but I really love as a prospect is Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford. He is a really smart player. Puts the ball in good places. Makes good decisions. Very mature. Productive in a pro style offense

I like Tebow's arm better than Alex Smith's.

No one's talking about Bradford? I think people are. He's not eligible until 2010, maybe that's why there's not as much hype. But there will be soon enough.

Bradford is actually elligible for 2009 I believe since he redshirted last year. I don't think he will come out until 2010 though.

A big NFL arm doesn't make a QB. If that were true then I guess Ryan Leaf, Jeff George, and David Carr would be all-pros. Its like Jaws said, it takes more than a big arm and being athletic to be an NFL QB. It's really more about the mental aspect of football that makes an NFL QB than the physical tools, and I don't see Tebow ever being able to run a sophisticated offense. Alex Smith is struggling because Urban Meyer held him back in college in a simple system that didn't get him ready for the pros. I'm not basing his lack of success for Tebow, but Tebow is very raw as a pocket passer and the system hides a lot of his flaws.

Fact of the matter is that Tebow is a horrible fit in a WCO. He is in a candy offense and he will have a rude awakening in the NFL.
