  • New Orleans to move already?

There have already been talks to move the New Orleans Hornets. They have a pretty solid team but can't bring in any attendance. One option is Oklahoma City where they planned part of their games during the Katrina cleanup. Another more realistic is Anaheim. Think the Hornets have a future in NO or not?

NO has NO future in NO. Are you confused yet? I read a report in the paper that said they might move to Seattle when the SuperSonics leave.

Does this set a modern day record for least time in a city for a pro sports team?

It was dumb to go to New Orleans...not a basketball city.

Vegas would be the new LA of the NBA. Lots of stars to go to games, highly marketable area. A much better basketball town that baseball town imo.

Congrats to Wisconsin. Even more congrats to UK haters.

See I don't get that? Why can a new team go to a poor basketball market? The Hornets could not make it in Charlotte but they feel the Bobcats could? Maybe the hornets in Seattle but not a team surrounded by Kevin Durant? What is the process and thinking behind that I am confused?

Vegas is growing rapidly, ton's a stars would go but only problem is if the team is horrible they won't have many natives to be loyal fans they would need a huge star right away and next year with 3 stud freshman most likely hoping to the NBA it just might be the right time?

I think they would have somewhat of a loyal fan base but with a lot of single game tickets being sold all the time and I think a lot of celebs and rich/young people would order season tickets.

Look, Vegas is about money. And the people that live there and live the big life have it. They want to be seen: go to an NBA game and get front row seats.

I think Vegas would be a great NBA market, but poor MLB market.

Hornets just cannot get people in the stands. I think they would just go back to Oklahoma City if/when they do move. Sonics could go to Vegas.

Yeah it doesn't matter, I would just assume that the Hornets would go to Oklahoma City because they played there for a few years after hurricane Katrina.
