Looks like Santana is going to the Mets for four minor leaguers including Humber and Gomez (he played some in the majors). They just have to agree to a contract. I'm a Yankee fan but root for the Mets to do well. I have friends that are Mets fans and instead of being childish about it we root for each others teams. The only difference is you don't care when the team loses.

The Mets needed to do this. Good trade for them. More excitement in New York.

So he didn't end up in Yankees or Red Sox? That's surprising...

This is gonna boost the Mets into a preseason favorite. And Bedard going to Seattle isnt final yet but most likely will go through.
Im not a Cleveland Cavaliers fan....No, I'm a LeBron James fan.

Figures.... In baseball the rich get richer and the poor keep producing prospects.... I hate that there is no cap in baseball. No wonder small market teams cant draw fans. Even if they do great one year they'll have to give up all their talent the next year when NY offers them huge contracts

I agree with, Adam. I do, however, think Santana will not fare too well in the NL.

Sure, I am a Dodger fan, but I just do not see the Mets doing much this year. Those Phillies will put up one heck of a fight.

Speaking of the Phillies, when the heck is Walter going to do a write up on them?

The Mets are going to pwn the rest of the NL this year. Bedard to SEA is good for SEA, but BAL won't have any thing to build around. Even when you are rebuilding, you need one star guy to center your team around.
