Cubs signed Edmonds

One guy I was so used to rooting against while he was on the Crdinals was Jim Edmonds. He recently got dropped from the Padres and the Cubs signed him for about $290k. Hmmm..... Hate that I might root for this guy now

Why he was an FA is beyond me. Good move by the Cubs.

Hate Edmonds or love him, he's a welcome addition to the lineup of any team I root for.

I guess, but I don't see the need we get rid of a struggling young gun for a struggling over-the-hill guy??? Doesn't make much sense to me

Cause Pie sucks, I hope Edmonds heats up but even if he plays just ok he's still better than Pie and gives us a LH bat which we need.

Giving on Pie all together is ludacris, but Edmonds can mentor him, which is a good thing.

Pie is a fine player. He could become a good leadoff guy down the road. I'm sure we'll trade him then that's when he'll start becoming a good player as usual
