I think the Sixers will make a big time offer to Smith that the Hawks can't match. Then we have to see if the Sixers resign Iggy also.
ESPN's Marc Stein reports that Elton Brand has informed the 76ers he will accept a five-year, $82 million contract offer from them.
"So much for that Baron Davis-Brand combination. Brand reportedly found playing in the Eastern Conference too attractive once Philadelphia freed up enough money to afford him. The Sixers were able to move Rodney Carney and Calvin Booth (along with a first-round pick) to the Timberwolves without taking on contracts, which made the deal possible. The Sixers are now a force to be reckoned with in the East."

Do you really think either is going to Philly? I think both will stay with their current teams... Then what do the 76ers do?

Iggy? Who's that? On another note.... I would love to see Smith stay in ATL I like that young athletic team they have there and think they could be the next "Golden State" playoff team

SPhilly traded away Rodney Carney, Calvin Booth, and a future No. 1 pick to the Timberwolves for a $5.3 million trade exception. It is said they are going to make a run after Elton Brand and Josh Smith. Man will they be disappointed if they get nothing after giving up a 1st rd pick
