What are the Bulls Thinking?

Luol Deng has set a date of Aug. 4th that he and the Bulls must reach an agreement on a new contract or next year most likely will be the last he will be seen in a Bulls uniform. Why are the Bulls being so stingy just sign one of the top young SFs in the game to a contract extension.
